The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued an important notice to prospective corps members regarding the resolution of any discrepancies in their date of graduation during the online registration process. The announcement was made via the NYSC’s official Twitter account, stressing that any corrections must be made before reporting to orientation camps and receiving state code numbers.
Prospective corps members are advised to promptly notify their Student Affairs Officers (SAOs) if they discover any inconsistencies in their uploaded dates. The NYSC cautions that they must not proceed to the orientation camps until the necessary corrections have been made.
The notice clarifies that the NYSC can only correct any incorrect graduation dates during online registration, up until the release of call-up letters. Once a state code number has been issued, the date of graduation cannot be corrected.
As previously reported by CareerBeginner.com, online registration for the 2023 Batch A Stream 2 will take place from April 11 to April 17, 2023. Prospective corps members are encouraged to ensure that their information is accurate and up to date before the registration deadline to avoid any issues during the orientation camp.
